It was colder today as Mei went about her errands, she was rushing now trying to get everything done before cloistering herself away. The past few years had made Mei wary of Samhain, the changes that happen in the mists, and dusk was quickly approaching.
As a Wilder tonight was the the best holiday to be had, as an assassin, tonight was also the most profitable. Mei knew well then, that come daybreak, no one would remember her actions of the past ten hours, so there would be no memory to any witness for a body found laying in the hedgerows, though Mei preferred more embarrassing places for the dead to be found in...
Not tonight however, the forgetting over time had turned from blessing to curse, and the Grump Sluagh would rather be safely tucked away in her room under the stairs, with her sour wine and stale treats, than out among those she would forget in a few hours time. Tonight Mei would spend her time talking to wraith if they visited, and reading letters from old friends, some she'd never see again, but held close the memories of, this time every year.
Mei stepped carefully over the traps set by Pooka, another reason to avoid being out tonight. There were still Wilder in the Freehold, and the noise and tricks of the reverie that would take place were not as welcome as they once had been. Tonight was better spent in solitude, protected from what ever outcome Samhain would bring.
All Fae are encouraged to add what you will experience tonight to this thread!
